Aurora Engineering Partnership

The full list of cross cutting engineering disciplines are listed in Appendix 2 and sector specific engineering disciplines are listed in Appendix 3. Providers were assessed through an evidence based review of relevant experience and organisational competence. Commercial Assessment The Commercial Assessment used the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR) as the basis of the commercial evaluation process. Using the Provider Network Approved Providers are invited to compete for work under the Aurora Engineering Partnership in line with their approved category codes. Sustaining the Provider Network Aurora manages access to the Provider Network on a two year cycle providing an environment for approved suppliers to win work. Following the two year cycle, Aurora will refresh the network through a managed EOI/ PQQ process. In certain circumstances Aurora may invite additional Providers into the network e.g. where Aurora have been directed to use a specific Provider by the Authority or a unique capability is required which is not already available in the Provider Network. The Provider Network The charts below provide a high level analysis of the Aurora Provider Network by size classification and those Providers who have qualified in sector specific engineering disciplines: Air Sector Land Sector Sea Sector 58 71 67 Number of Providers qualified in Sector Specific Engineering Disciplines 33 25 44 Number of providers by L/SME classification 20 Micro Small Medium Large Each Provider is technically assessed against cross cutting engineering disciplines and sector specific disciplines. The top performing Providers (evidence based) are approved for those categories. Providers can declare capabilities to provide technical outputs or critical resources or both.
