We offer: y y Independent Consulting Engineering: our comprehensive domain knowledge combined with our experience in senior acquisition leadership and whole platform perspective allows us to understand the complex challenges associated with combat system design and integration. y y Design Support: BMT’s combat systems team demonstrates expert engineering drawing and illustration skills, which allow us to offer enriched design solutions. We use the latest CAD and 3D modelling software tools and techniques to clarify, enhance and support the technical requirements of our customers’ programmes, including: maturity reviews, technical assessments, preliminary feasibility studies and fully integrated installation guidance. We have the necessary planning, configuration and programme management skills required to ensure successful contract execution. y y Information Data Management: With significant experience in supporting engineering contracts, BMT’s Combat Systems Team offers a broad spectrum of skills and knowledge in capturing and manipulating data. We can create bespoke solutions for customer problems, which fulfil human factors, training, volumetric analysis, reverse engineering and surface analysis requirements. Support to Bespoke Equipment Fits BMT has provided design change support to bespoke equipment fits provided by niche manufacturers into a variety of naval platforms. We use technical drawings and equipment specifications to provide detailed installation guidance. Design Change Management for Equipment Updates BMT has a specialist Design Change Management team who regularly provide Alteration and Additions (A&A) packages for equipment upgrades/updates such as the common external communications system for Astute Class submarines through our contract with Babcock.
