With the ever-increasing complexity of modern day systems, it is crucial that operators and maintainers are supported with accurate information that is appropriate to their level of expertise. At BMT, we use our extensive experience in the creation of documentation to provide through-life support for the management and production of documentation to the latest industrial and military standards. We support defence primes and OEMs supplying into major defence programmes with their technical documentation requirements, turning original equipment manufacturer material into clear and comprehensible content for the end user. We offer: MOD Technical Publications Review BMT is currently contracted to provide a Risk Based Review of Surface Ship technical publications by UK MoD. We are responsible for the technical and safety validation of all Marine Engineering and Weapons Engineering technical publications and any linked documentation impacted. Technical Documentation for Common Workboats BMT are members of the Atlas Elektronik UK (AEUK) team, contracted to supply and provide support for Common Workboats for the UK’s Ministry of Defence. Selected for our pedigree in delivery to the UK MoD Commercially Supported Shipping (CSS) Boats Team, BMT integrate with the AEUK project delivery team providing Safety and Environmental Management and Technical Documentation to the acquisition of up to 38 workboats, and extended programme of In-Service Support. y y Creation of Technical Publications; In-house development of bespoke manuals, maintenance procedures and parts catalogues, based on source engineering material from hardcopy publications, to digital formats such as a IETDs. y y Engineering Review / Proof Reading / Update of Technical Publications; Full spectrum update from technical and safety content reviews and updates, to content and format updates to existing or alternative formats and outputs. y y Technical Information Hosting and Management; Secure hosting and content management that can be presented on multiple digital platforms to provide a tailored digital experience. y y Technical Drawing, Illustrations and Animations; Professional Illustrators, CAD engineers and animations capability to produce high quality output from source engineering material y y 2D / 3D modelling / simulation / Laser scanning; y y Technical Publications Printing and Distribution; y y Technical Documentation Consultancy.
